The Psychology of Search

Here’s a strange and futuristic concept: Google is working on a way to predict when a user is becoming frustrated because they can’t find the information they’re searching for.

A study has been undertaken at Washington University, which notes users’ psychological states while they attempt to find something that’s not readily available on the first page.

Google Instant Search: Instantly Irritating?

Though I wholeheartedly agree with our earlier blog about Google Instant’s impact on SEO and PPC – that’s going to be interesting, and probably very challenging! – I’m writing this blog as an internet user, not as a PPC specialist.
